<div>Position Details </div><div>Designation Electrical SS (Substation) Design Engineer </div><div>Location Mumbai Kolkata Hyderabad </div><div>Qualification BE ME in Electrical Engineering </div><div>Experience 71 Years </div><div>Business Unit Transmission & Distribution </div><div>Job Description </div><div>Roles & Responsibilities </div><div> Lead design and engineering for GIS and AIS substations from 66kV to 765kV </div><div> Prepare equipment specifications layout drawings and perform critical calculations including short circuit forces earthing lightning protection conductor sizing CTCVT sizing and battery sizing </div><div> Develop and validate bills of quantities (BOQs) and system sizing requirements </div><div> Review vendor drawings and technical documents for accuracy and compliance </div><div> Support the design team in developing SLDs general arrangements cable schedules and other key design documents </div><div> Coordinate with civil and mechanical teams for smooth project interfaces </div><div> Adhere to relevant international and national standards (IEC IEEE ANSI) and applicable codes </div><div> Ensure quality accuracy and timely delivery of all engineering deliverables </div><div> Provide guidance to the team on technical calculations and best practices </div><div> Engage effectively with clients consultants and project stakeholders </div><div>Required Skills </div><div> Indepth knowledge of EHV substation design standards and practices </div><div> Proficiency in substation layout busbar schemes earthing and cable routing </div><div> Experience with AutoCAD familiarity with ETAP and CDEGS preferred </div><div> Good understanding of protection and control system interfaces </div><div> Strong analytical and problemsolving skills </div><div> Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities </div><div> Project management and documentation skills </div><div> Ability to work independently and guide junior engineers </div><div>Behavioral Competencies </div><div> Ownership & Accountability take complete responsibility for assigned deliverables </div><div> Crossfunctional teamwork collaborate with multidisciplinary teams </div><div> Delivery Focus maintain deadlines with highquality outputs </div><div> Cost Awareness design within optimal budgets </div><div> Innovative Thinking proactively propose improvements and efficient solutions </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div>
