<p>Role & responsibilities</p>
<ul>
<li>Analyzing and interpreting customer specifications or requirements from tender documents and to read and understand P&IDs</li>
<li>Proposing competitive cost-effective technical solutions, conveying alternative solutions when customer requirements cannot be met</li>
<li>Managing proposals in timely, technically and commercially accurate manner also supporting and participating actively in contract negotiations</li>
<li>Meeting or exceeding order volume goal and to manage pricing authority within guidelines established by the business unit</li>
<li>Working on all aspects of bid preparation, project negotiation, pricing strategies, tactical planning, technical support, value add engineering, risk analysis</li>
<li>Interfacing with all levels of product line management/vendors, negotiating of terms and conditions. Providing PAN India support</li>
<li>Working on order closing activities. Developing commercial relations with existing and potential customers and knowledge of their business and organization</li>
<li>Reporting business intelligence, orders won and lost, competitive activity, new product requirements and track negotiations in a timely and efficient manner</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Preferred candidate profile</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>BE or B.Tech engineering from a reputed university</li>
<li>Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in backend and frontend sales from upstream (oil and gas) customers and EPCs, customer management</li>
<li>Experience in DCS / ESD (Emergency Shutdown) / F&G (Fire & Gas), SCADA, MS Project, MS Visio and PowerPoint</li>
<li>Excellent communication and negotiating skills, with the ability to influence at all levels and address key issues with maximum integrity and professionalism</li>
