Design Engineer

<ul> <li>Creation of Engineering drawings and specifications.</li> <li>Documentation of solutions</li> <li>Work closely with suppliers for development components</li> </ul> <p><strong>Education, Skills, and Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>B.E Mechanical/Automobile Engineering with Relevant experience (4-10 Years)</li> <li>Hands-on work experience in similar automotive domains preferred</li> <li>Experience in the commercial vehicle industry will be an added advantage</li> </ul> <p><strong>The key personal skills for this role are</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>Good knowledge on the design of plastic, and sheet metal components along with the manufacturing process</li> <li>The requirement is in the Powertrain installation group in Chassis Engineering.</li> <li>Preferred area of work is Engine peripherals like Air intake, Noise shields, recirculation shields, Engine cooling</li> <li>system, oil fill, and check areas.</li> <li>Extensive hands-on experience Surfacing in Catia software is mandatory</li> <li>Exposure to vehicle packaging and DMU mockup</li> <li>Creation of Engineering drawings and specifications.</li> <li>Familiar with different types of truck/automotive aggregates preferred</li> <li>Strong in engineering fundamentals and their applications</li> <li>Good networking and interpersonal skills with good verbal and written communication.</li> <li>Good team player and contributor in Cross-Functional Teams.</li> </ul>
