Designer Engineer

<ul> <li>Develop detailed 3D CAD models of component parts and complete skid assemblies based on customer requirements and internal as well as customer standards</li> <li>Develop detailed designs of mechanical components used in the assembly and operation of our high-speed centrifugal compressor builds</li> <li>Create detailed vendor and fabrication/assembly drawings</li> <li>Perform engineering changes (ECs) on existing drawings</li> <li>Model new vendor parts as necessary</li> <li>Support multiple concurrent projects</li> <li>Ensure on-time release of sales orders in full</li> <li>Ensure the correctness of releases</li> <li>Standardization of machines and assemblies</li> <li>Application of DFX principles in designs</li> <li>Interface with GAD &amp; PID team as needed</li> <li>Interface with Automation &amp; Controls team for releases</li> <li>Support operations &amp; vendor development team as needed&nbsp;</li> <li>Participate in CAPA and horizontal deployment</li> <li>Update machine drawings &amp; BOM as dispatched before machine leaving factory</li> <li>PCRN &amp; ECN implementation</li> <li>As required travel to customer locations to provide technical solutions</li> <li>Stay abreast with developments in the industry</li> <li>Try new concepts &amp; not afraid of failure</li> </ul>
