Manufacturing Engineer

<ul> <li>Interfaces with Engineering functions to coordinate the release of New Products or/and product improvements.</li> <li>Interfaces between operations, design engineering &amp; Global Product management to&nbsp;implement most feasible solution for Supplier problems, Waivers, Build issues.</li> <li>Participates in New Product Builds &amp; Champions issue resolution. Determines root cause&nbsp;analysis for issues that arise during assembly and/or test of systems; provides short term&nbsp;&amp; long-term corrective action.</li> <li>Makes recommendations for tooling, testing and process requirements by analysing on&nbsp;DFA / DFM principles to reduce manufacturing and/or product costs, and improve&nbsp;delivered product quality.</li> <li>Preparing Work instructions (WI) in 2D &amp; 3D as per process requirements.</li> <li>Breakdown of sub-assemblies &amp; packing requirements.</li> <li>List down the consumables used in the product.</li> <li>Identify any special tools for build line like Vacuum lifters, torque tools, Heat sink&nbsp;fixtures, Jigs and Fixtures. Build line assembly fixtures, trolley etc.</li> <li>Review of DFM , PFMEA , FLOW CHART &amp; Control Plan</li> <li>Identify Critical Training needs for Operators and Technicians.</li> <li>Conduct pilot run and note down all the manufacturing issues, POKAYOKE&nbsp;implementation.</li> <li>Responsible for initiating Process Innovation for simplifications and improvements of&nbsp;current Processes on a continuous basis.</li> <li>Creating&nbsp;3D&nbsp;&amp;&nbsp;2D&nbsp;drawing&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;products,&nbsp;checking&nbsp;and&nbsp;welding&nbsp;fixtures&nbsp;using&nbsp;Creo&nbsp;and&nbsp;Auto&nbsp;CAD&nbsp;tools.</li> <li>Preparing&nbsp;feasibility&nbsp;reports&nbsp;of&nbsp;each&nbsp;project.</li> <li>Process&nbsp;development&nbsp;of&nbsp;new&nbsp;parts&nbsp;based&nbsp;on&nbsp;parts&nbsp;criticality&nbsp;&amp;&nbsp;customer&nbsp;requirements&nbsp;using&nbsp;in-&nbsp;house&nbsp;facility&nbsp;&amp;&nbsp;vendor.</li> <li>Vendor&nbsp;Development&nbsp;Activities&nbsp;like&nbsp;Jigs&nbsp;and&nbsp;fixture&nbsp;Development.</li> <li>Development&nbsp;of&nbsp;innovation&nbsp;ME-Systems&nbsp;according&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;approved&nbsp;project&nbsp;or&nbsp;development&nbsp;task&nbsp;from&nbsp;management.</li> </ul>
