<ul>
<li>Interfaces with Engineering functions to coordinate the release of New Products or/and product improvements.</li>
<li>Interfaces between operations, design engineering & Global Product management to implement most feasible solution for Supplier problems, Waivers, Build issues.</li>
<li>Participates in New Product Builds & Champions issue resolution. Determines root cause analysis for issues that arise during assembly and/or test of systems; provides short term & long-term corrective action.</li>
<li>Makes recommendations for tooling, testing and process requirements by analysing on DFA / DFM principles to reduce manufacturing and/or product costs, and improve delivered product quality.</li>
<li>Preparing Work instructions (WI) in 2D & 3D as per process requirements.</li>
<li>Breakdown of sub-assemblies & packing requirements.</li>
<li>List down the consumables used in the product.</li>
<li>Identify any special tools for build line like Vacuum lifters, torque tools, Heat sink fixtures, Jigs and Fixtures. Build line assembly fixtures, trolley etc.</li>
<li>Review of DFM , PFMEA , FLOW CHART & Control Plan</li>
<li>Identify Critical Training needs for Operators and Technicians.</li>
<li>Conduct pilot run and note down all the manufacturing issues, POKAYOKE implementation.</li>
<li>Responsible for initiating Process Innovation for simplifications and improvements of current Processes on a continuous basis.</li>
<li>Creating 3D & 2D drawing of the products, checking and welding fixtures using Creo and Auto CAD tools.</li>
<li>Preparing feasibility reports of each project.</li>
<li>Process development of new parts based on parts criticality & customer requirements using in- house facility & vendor.</li>
<li>Vendor Development Activities like Jigs and fixture Development.</li>
<li>Development of innovation ME-Systems according to the approved project or development task from management.</li>
