Quality Control (QC) Engineer - Chennai

<p><strong>Roles and Responsibilities</strong></p> <p>The candidate would be trained to perform these functions.</p> <ul> <li>Maintenance of all Machines used for Charging, Testing and Production</li> <li>Interacting with Machine and Maintenance Vendors to ensure 100% Uptime</li> <li>Troubleshooting small issues and conducting repairs inhouse</li> <li>Testing of Inward material, Outward QC, In-process QC, Finished Goods, Stock Material, Field Returns, and designing testing procedures.</li> <li>Evaluating and Sourcing new suppliers of Machines, Spare Parts, Raw materials and Services</li> <li>Building technical knowledge &amp; competency within the company</li> <li>Coordinating with utility providers, e.g. electricity, telephones</li> <li>Designing of Products manufactured by us.</li> <li>Managing Raw Material Inventory</li> </ul> <p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p> <ul> <li>Candidate must have technical training from vocational institutes or have a degree or diploma related to electronics / electrical.</li> <li>Candidate must have good hands-on capability in soldering, repairing, and assembly.</li> <li>Candidate should have a keen interest in solving technical problems.</li> <li>Candidate should have basic knowledge of using computers &amp; MS Office Applications</li> <li>Would prefer candidates who reside in or near Vasai</li> <li>Candidate should have good communication skills in Verbal &amp; Writing</li> <li>Candidate should be able to work as part of a team</li> </ul>
