Design Engineer

<ul> <li>he Drafting team prepares and maintains detailed design drawings, schematics or specifications typically using computer-aided design software</li> <li>Creates, modifies and controls detailed two- and three-dimensional parts and assembly drawings from engineers and technicians sketches, plans and written and verbal instructions</li> </ul> <p><strong>EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS </strong>-&nbsp;B.Tech/ BE Mechanical Engineering</p> <p><strong>PURPOSE -</strong></p> <ul> <li>The position is responsible for developing/ reviewing CAD models/ Assemblies/ drawings for mechanical/ electrical components and subsystems</li> <li>Utilizes corporate CAD design systems to produce relatively Complex models, assemblies and detailed drawings, layouts that are dimensionally accurate</li> <li>Manages assigned tasks within scheduled time constraints</li> <li>Establishes component tolerances in accordance with manufacturing capabilities</li> </ul> <p><strong>Your responsibilities will include</strong></p> <ul> <li>Understand &amp; review requirements to produce complete CAD models of components &amp; subassemblies in subsystem</li> <li>Create / Modify complex CAD model (concepts / remodeling) &amp; production drawings of electrical / mechanical components</li> <li>CAD data management using Windchill PDM link. (EBOM/ MBOM)</li> <li>Application and representation of GD&amp;T as per required standard (ASME Y14.5-2009 / ISO 1101)</li> <li>Use of robust CAD modeling practice / methods in Creo parametric</li> <li>Use CAD tools (Modelchk, Creo View, DFM Pro etc) to verify CAD design changes for manufacturing, assembly complying with drafting standards</li> <li>Performs complex tolerance analysis and validation using CAD tools.</li> <li>Quality Review of CAD drawings &amp; Models.(DFM, DFA)</li> <li>Should have knowledge of varies plastic manufacturing Processes, sound knowledge of plastic materials</li> <li>Good Communication skills,</li> <li>Experience on working with cross functional teams</li> <li>Knowledge on MBD (Model Based dimensioning) will add advantage</li> <li>Decision making, Problem solving skills (CAD, drawings)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Key Deliverables</strong></p> <ul> <li>Prepares and maintains detailed design drawings, schematics or specifications typically using computer-aided design software</li> <li>Creates, modifies and controls detailed two- and three-dimensional parts and assembly drawings from engineers</li> </ul> <p><strong>TECHNICAL</strong></p> <p>1.
