<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Interfaces with NPME, Manufacturing Engineers, Technicians, and Quality teams to develop optimal operation sequences for parts and assemblies.</li>
<li>Identifies key areas for product improvements and coordinates with other engineering functions to implement changes.</li>
<li>Work closely with manufacturing operations management to prioritize areas for OMS/manufacturing documentation improvements.</li>
<li>Work closely with the manufacturing floor to solve the build issue and coordinate with the offshore team to complete assembly documents.</li>
<li>Makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements.</li>
<li>Participates in New Product Builds & Champions issue resolution. Determines root cause analysis for issues that arise during assembly and/or test of systems; provides Long-term corrective action.</li>
<li>Perform time study to measure/record time for production processes.</li>
<li>Performs other duties as assigned. Duties will vary according to the project in progress and/or the specific goals of the department in which the incumbent works.</li>
</ul>

<li>Manufacturing and assembly techniques, bill of materials, product/personnel safety requirements, material handling, and troubleshooting.</li>
<li>Requires demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing engineering discipline, theories, practices, and principles.</li>
<li>Requires knowledge necessary to perform the job function such as an understanding of the engineering change order process, product development process, value engineering, etc.</li>
