<p><strong>Role & responsibilities :</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>To understand project requirements and specifications.</li>
<li>Prepare Mechanical Design of Boilers including pressure parts, structure, piping, ducting, material handling equipment, etc according to client specifications as per national and international design codes.</li>
<li>Design and preparation of General Arrangement and foundation drawings, and detailed drawings including structure, piping and non-pressure parts.</li>
<li>To give inputs and specifications to vendors for material requirement, and to review and approve vendor drawings and documents.</li>
<li>To analyse technical problems and provide solutions pertaining to design, manufacturing, construction, commissioning, etc.</li>
<li>Interaction with customer/ consultant and approval authorities for drawing approvals, and technical meetings</li>
<li>Technical Support to Sales/ marketing for proposals</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Critical Competencies:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Open-minded for learning the basic concepts and requirements of waste to energy boilers.</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of concepts related to mechanical engineering.</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of types of fuel and fuel feeding system, fuel / ash handling equipment and storage systems</li>
<li>Knowledge of design codes like IBR, ASME, EN, BS, API etc. and their application for mechanical design calculations will be added advantage.</li>
<li>Basic awareness of manufacturing processes - bending, welding, assembly, handling and transportation.</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of drafting and interpreting engineering drawings.</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of AutoCAD/ drafting software (2D and 3D), and understanding of ANSYS, STAAD analysis for coordinating the inputs/ output.</li>
<li>Good in co-ordination, communication, problem solving.</li>
<li>Positive mindset and ability to understand and adapt to ongoing job demands.</li>
