<strong>Facility & Exhibit Maintenance:</strong><br />
The Maintenance Manager is in charge of managing all aspects of facility<br />
maintenance. This includes the museum building, exhibition spaces,<br />
restrooms, oces, storage areas, and any other structures within the<br />
museum's premises. They ensure that the facilities are in good working<br />
condition and comply with safety regulations.<br />
Addressing any repairs or maintenance issues that arise within the museum.<br />
This may include xing broken exhibits, repairing structural damages,<br />
addressing HVAC or lighting problems,electrical,UPS, Fire alarm systems,<br />
Water treatment plants, CCTV, Access Control systems,<br />
transformers,elevators,WLD and managing general wear and tear.<br />
Prociently overseeing installation projects, repairs, and general upkeep of<br />
all assets and facilities owned by the organization.<br />
Preserving and maintaining the museum's exhibits and artifacts is a critical<br />
responsibility. The Maintenance Manager must collaborate with conservationists and curators to implement proper preservation methods,<br />
including climate control, humidity regulation, and security measures.</p>

<strong>Developing Maintenance Procedures:</strong><br />
The Manager should be capable of formulating and implementing eective<br />
maintenance procedures and protocols. Standardizing maintenance<br />
practices across the organization helps streamline processes and ensures<br />
consistency in performance.<br />

breakdowns and ensures the organization's assets are always in top<br />
condition.</p>

<strong>Managing Team and coordination with other departments:</strong><br />
The Maintenance Manager supervises and coordinates the work of<br />
maintenance sta, including technicians, custodians, and contractors. They<br />
ensure that the team is well-trained and motivated to carry out their duties<br />
eectively.<br />
Collaborate with other departments, such as curatorial and events teams,<br />
to coordinate maintenance tasks around exhibitions, events, and special<br />
programs.</p>

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the inventory of<br />
supplies, stock, and raw materials used in maintenance activities. This<br />
includes keeping track of consumables like tools, equipment spare parts,<br />
and other materials needed for repairs and upkeep.<br />
The Manager must ensure that inventory levels are maintained appropriately,<br />
avoiding shortages or excessive stockpiling.<br />
Based on the requirements and usage patterns, the Maintenance Manager<br />
will coordinate with relevant suppliers or procurement departments to<br />
place orders for necessary supplies and materials. They must be proactive<br />
in managing the supply chain to ensure the availability of items when<br />
needed.</p>

The Maintenance Manager ensures that logs are accurately updated with<br />
information about maintenance activities, repairs, equipment servicing, and<br />
any notable observations during inspections.<br />

and specic maintenance projects. Checklists help in standardizing<br />
processes and ensuring that nothing is overlooked.</p>
