Senior Design Engineer - Asst Manager

<ul> <li>Design of Intensive Mixers used for industrial purpose as well as in laboratories for products like concrete, plasters, building materials, sand lime bricks, ceramics, refractories, glass, carbon bodies etc.</li> <li>Ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications by specifying direct modification of products.</li> <li>Running all the design procedure in ERP system as well as checking for technical specification of the direct bought out items.</li> <li>Working in accordance with Design Manager for Scheduling an activity of department in view of teamwork achievement</li> <li>Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.</li> <li>Manage product issues, schedule and work plan of engineering tasks.</li> <li>Ensure regular engineering releases as per time plan and priorities set by management.</li> <li>Checking of drawings for fabricated, machined components and sheet metal parts as well as critical drawings of project equipments.</li> <li>Checking and correcting the complete Bill of Materials (BOM), spec sheets of a machine or equipment before it is released to manufacturing.</li> <li>Oversee the design, manufacturing, operation, application, installation and performance of the product.</li> <li>Evaluate and approve design changes, specifications and drawing changes.</li> <li>Prepare, check and approve technical data sheets or specification sheets for standard and bought out items like pump, motor, gear box and gear units, bearings and other electrical, mechanical and hydraulic, pneumatic drive components</li> <li>Create and review 3D modelling, assembly, detail drawing by using CAD tools like Solid works and AutoCAD.</li> <li>Generating standards and customer BoM in ERP as per sales order.</li> <li>Preparation of equipment layout or general arrangement drawings including Conveyors, Elevators, Mixers, Plant equipment etc.</li> <li>Selection of standards /Bought Out Items as per IS standard and calculations.</li> <li>Co-ordination and support with supplier or vendor, internal departments and customer&nbsp;Role &amp; responsibilities</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred candidate profile</strong></p> <p>Qualification/Prerequisite:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor&#39;s degree&nbsp;in&nbsp;Mechanical/Production/Mechatronics Engineering</li> <li>Ability to lead a team of 2 to 3 designers/draftsman</li> <li>Excellent communication Skill and presentation skills</li> <li>Hands-on experience in&nbsp;Solidworks&nbsp;and&nbsp;AutoCAD</li> <li>Experience of working on&nbsp;ERP&nbsp;system</li> <li>Good Analytical skills and knowledge of basic calculation</li> <li>Knowledge of&nbsp;Material&nbsp;Standards,&nbsp;GD &amp; T&nbsp;etc.</li> <li>Microsoft Office: Excel, Word and PowerPoint</li> <li>Basic knowledge of Hydraulics and Pneumatics.</li> </ul>
