Sr. Design Engineer - Pune

<ul> <li>3-5 Years of good design experience in Automotive Seating - Foam Design.</li> <li>Hands-on experience in surfacing/solid modeling/Drawing creation in Catia V5 /NX software.</li> <li>Good Presentation and communication skills.</li> <li>Foam Design guidelines and process For seating foam.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Job Profile:</strong></p> <p><strong>Roles &amp; Responsibilities :</strong></p> <ul> <li>Work experience on Seat Foam design, Trim Engineering, Class A surface design and Development.</li> <li>Be responsible for the design and development of Seat Foam, Basics of Foam Design guidelines etc.</li> <li>Check assembly and packaging constrains in respect of adjustment possibilities</li> <li>Check Foam process constrains (tool access, assembly steps) based on guidelines</li> <li>Create assembly models and skeleton using Catia V5/NX</li> <li>Good knowledge of CAD Methodology and best practices for Foam Design, Assembly Design, Drafting.</li> <li>Ensure data is up to date and reflects the required levels of maturity at any given point in time</li> <li>Provide CAD support, leading and progressing the design in line with the program timescales and deliverable cadence</li> <li>Ability to check and manage clearance to interface parts.</li> <li>Experience in automotive product development and release for production cycle comfort, foam and trim.</li> <li>Good Knowledge of Seating Foam Pad tooling and manufacturing process.</li> <li>Good Knowledge of Trim cover attachment requirement and Trim cover and part release process.</li> <li>Good knowledge of engineering release process Prototype/DV/PV/ release.</li> <li>Complete signoff DFM, DFA, DFMEA process for smooth release.</li> <li>Good knowledge on Foam DVP.</li> </ul> <p><strong>CAD/CAE Tools : NX</strong></p>
