Sr. Design Engineer

<p><strong>Job Description</strong></p> <p>The selected consultant will be required to support for:</p> <p>Design of brake system &amp; components.</p> <p>Design proposal, 3D modelling, 2D drawings &amp; aggregate packaging in ProE (PTC) Creo with exposure to GD&amp;T.</p> <p>Release activity in PLM</p> <p>Making of 3D modelling of the piping in the Pro/Piping software of Pro/E.</p> <p>To submit the 2D drawings for the pipes &amp; complete assembly of pipe bunch ready with D ML release after of TML Design Managers.</p> <p>To submit the Clamping drawing &amp; Information figment drawing of pipe bunch with clamp det ails keeping in view including clamp fasteners on the chassis</p> <p>Design optimization and validation through interaction with CAE team .</p> <p>BOM Preparation and complete design group release in PLM with adherence to timeline</p> <p>DMU review with the other design groups, vehicle integration &amp; production teams and resolution of issues</p> <p>Co-ordination for prototype build and support for Vehicle testing.</p> <p>Regular co-ordination with production, vehicle integration, service and supplier team for production issue resolution.</p> <p>Coordina tion with other design groups, Vehicle integration &amp; other stake holders for finalisation of design.</p> <p>Resolution of design, packaging, other issues before release.</p> <p>Interact with suppliers for component development/ Supplier drawing release.</p> <p>Completion of DFM EA, DFM, DFA, DFS signoff for designs</p> <p>Preferred Skills &amp; Knowledge</p> <p>Knowledge of release process in PLM.</p> <p>Knowl edge of brake system or Automobile chassis component its application with exposure to design guidelines and calculations.</p> <p>Should b e ready to work in Shifts</p> <p>Well versed with mechanical design of components &amp; knowledge of brake system</p> <p>Working experience in Pro /E (preferred), PLM (preferred) of 2 to 5 years.</p>
