You will ensure the highest standards of safety performance and efficiency are maintained throughout the process.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><strong>Responsibilities</strong></div><div>-Lead and supervise the installation and maintenance of conveyor systems in underground coal mining operations</div><div>-Ensure all mechanical systems are operating efficiently and safely</div><div>-Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability</div><div>-Perform troubleshooting and repairs on conveyors and related mechanical equipment</div><div>-Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical and safety personnel to ensure smooth operation</div><div>-Provide technical expertise and mentorship to maintenance staff</div><div>-Prepare and maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and any required upgrades or repairs</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><strong>Qualifications</strong></div><div>-Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical engineering with a focus on conveyor systems preferably in an underground coal mining environment</div><div>-Strong knowledge of conveyor mechanics maintenance techniques and equipment troubleshooting</div><div>-Familiarity with underground coal mining operations and the unique challenges they present</div><div>-Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to lead and work in a team environment</div><div>-Strong communication and organizational skills</div><div>-Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and adhere to safety protocols</div><div>-Bachelors degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field</div><div>-Certification in mining safety and relevant mechanical systems is a plus</div>
