Production Manager

<ul> <li>Plan and execute the production process as per monthly plan and daily plan with optimum utilization of resources.</li> <li>Determine resource requirements and perform effective work allocation and machine utilization for maximizing production operations</li> <li>Co-ordinate closely with Planning, Quality Assurance, and Dispatch department to confirm the delivery of targets as per schedule</li> <li>Ensuring quality requirements are met at all stages of manufacturing and particularly when accelerating production schedules to meet deadlines</li> <li>Review the production requirements and systems constantly to eliminate idle time, anticipate and mitigate risks and identify scope for improvement</li> <li>Assist Production Manager in planning, managing and executing production operations, ensure smooth workflow and prioritizing where necessary.</li> <li>Schedule routine inspection and maintenance of production equipment to prevent equipment break-downs and malfunctioning</li> <li>Develop or update standard operating procedures and best practices for enhancing production operations</li> <li>Ensure that all equipment, materials and manpower are readily and continuously available to carry out scheduled production processes.</li> <li>Perform manpower planning, monitor absenteeism, be responsible for skills development on regular basis for blue-collar workers</li> <li>Address all employee concerns and complaints in a professional manner and ensure discipline and harmonious relations on the shop floor</li> <li>Ensure the documenting of all work instructions and procedures and preparing various monthly production reports for all concerned stakeholders</li> <li>Monitor safe work practice procedures as per company SOPs are followed on shop floor to maintain an injury-free production facility.</li> <li>Analyze overall budget parameters and implement cost-optimization initiatives to adhere to them</li> <li>Responsible for Inventory in Production Dept and to ensure proper recording of production, valuation and physical stock vis--vis books stock</li> <li>Responsible for compliance to company rules and regulations, HSE policy and all applicable labour laws.</li> </ul>
