<p><strong>Role & responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Assists with planning and executing the preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance of production equipment.</li>
<li>Works with teams in the maintenance organization and assists line employees in basic maintenance procedures.</li>
<li>Assists Facilities, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering in problem identification, trouble shooting, and equipment issue resolution and repair.</li>
<li>Assists with spare parts and indirect materials inventory by using a computerized maintenance management system.</li>
<li>Assists with equipment engineering design evaluations.</li>
<li>Builds preventative maintenance processes to ensure equipment is available and capable.</li>

<li>Equipment/Capital Procurement - Selects manufacturing equipment which meets the Cummins manufacturing specifications and meets the project or program needs.</li>
<li>Project Management - Establishes and maintains the balance of scope, schedule and resources for a temporary effort (a "project").</li>
<li>Health and Safety Fundamentals - Champions and models proactive health and safety behaviors by identifying, reporting and participating in actions to improve health and safety in order to build an interdependent culture and contribute to an injury-free workplace.</li>
<li>Manufacturing Analysis Led Design - Uses digital tools to model and simulate manufacturing processes, equipment and performance to make data driven decisions before changes are made and to drive continuous improvements.</li>
<li>Manufacturing Prognostics - Applies prognostics techniques by collecting real time equipment conditions and then use advanced analytics and artificial intelligence technologies to project future failures to eliminate unplanned equipment and systems down time.</li>
<li>Drawing Interpretation - Integrates product design and manufacturing equipment engineering drawings to support the design and development of an optimal manufacturing process that meets product design specifications.</li>
<li>Data Mining - Extracts insights from data by identifying relationships and patterns through use of a suite of data exploration and data visualization techniques to understand the underlying structure of the data and enable sound conclusions upon model building.</li>
<li>Measurement Science - Analyzes measurement processes throughout the relevant traceability chain to identify and quantify sources of measurement uncertainty relevant to the appropriate applied measurement science, Metrology e.g. Chemical, Dimensional, Electrical, Mechanical, Optical and Radiation and Physical.</li>
<li>Preventative and Predictive Maintenance - Interprets machine and tool maintenance records and data to develop and execute preventative and predictive management strategies to drive continuous improvement within the manufacturing process.</li>
