The ideal candidate will be involved in the design and development of high-quality automotive plastic components, ensuring they meet industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory specifications.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Create and modify 3D models of automotive plastic parts using CATIA V5/V6.</li><li>Design and develop plastic components, assemblies, and tooling for automotive applications.</li><li>Work with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, and quality) to ensure product design meets performance, durability, and manufacturing standards.</li><li>Perform design validation, stress analysis, and material selection to ensure reliability and performance.</li><li>Prepare design documentation, including drawings, BOMs, and technical reports.</li><li>Conduct design reviews and implement design improvements based on feedback.</li><li>Support the prototyping, testing, and production phases to ensure the seamless transition from design to manufacturing.</li><li>Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure smooth production of plastic components.</li><li>Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, materials, and technologies to suggest innovative design solutions.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Educational Qualification: BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or related fields.</li><li>Experience: 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience in CATIA V5/V6 (preferably with automotive plastic design).</li><li>Knowledge of plastic materials, injection molding, and other manufacturing processes for automotive components.</li><li>Basic understanding of engineering drawings and design documentation.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and teamwork skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Preferred Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience in automotive plastic design, tooling, and assembly.</li><li>Familiarity with CAE tools for structural and material analysis.</li><li>Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.</li><li>Exposure to automotive design standards and regulations.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Compensation & Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li>Salary: ₹3 LPA to ₹5 LPA, based on experience and skills.</li><li>Health and insurance coverage.</li><li>Professional development and training programs.</li><li>Flexible work hours and hybrid working options (if applicable).</li><li>Opportunities for career growth in a global automotive company.</li></ul>
