<p><strong>Purpose of the Role:</strong></p>
<p>Plan and manage the execution of project releases based on input from the system integration people, the capabilities and capacity team, and the operations team. Working very closely with entire marketing, R&D, and operations groups to deliver a complete and comprehensive marketing strategy. Serve as a focal point for all aspects of project lifecycle management from the planning phase to the project closure phase. Be accountable for project planning, execution, scheduling, functionality, quality, and cost. Manage projects during the execution phase. Perform ongoing risk management activities and ensure that appropriate risk mitigation is implemented. Be responsible for the overall management of change resulting from the implementation of the projects. Long-range strategic planning will affect the Companys's success. Manage & guide the team with motivation to excel in performance. Drive creative thinking, ensure customer needs are considered, and collaborate with the operations team to ensure products are designed as per customer requirements. Leverage project governance and escalation process as needed to meet project KPIs. Regularly review and communicate project progress</p>

<p><strong>General and Task Management</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Market research analysis & create inputs for new vehicle projects for European & US markets</li>
<li>Creation of project plans and identification of resource requirements</li>
<li>Analyze market opportunities for EV</li>
<li>Independently facilitating the introduction of new products through the NPI process that contribute significant Enterprise financial benefits on time and to budget with a robust Vehicle Development Plan</li>
<li>Profiling & Managing Product Engineering Projects, ensuring all requirements of internal and external customers are met whilst maintaining committed timescales and budgets</li>
<li>Analyze and report on product deployment performance</li>
<li>Providing the senior leadership with weekly/monthly progress reports on all projects</li>
<li>Work with Finance and others to build business cases to drive good returns on investments</li>
<li>Collaborate with the R&D team to ensure NPI checkpoints meet financial goals and align to Strategic Plan</li>
<li>Working with all other groups, managing operational escalations related to project launches</li>
<li>Material preparation for prototypes & PP batch for line trials.</li>
<li>Production planning and dimensioning</li>
<li>Preparation for supply and production</li>
<li>Supply requirement handling</li>
<li>Play the key role in Product Development</li>
<li>Technical coordinator between R&D and factory</li>
<li>Provide a high level of leadership in the industrialization and development process in order to achieve cost-effectiveness and ensure the supply of high-quality products on time to market</li>
<li>Forecast NPI project budget</li>
<li>Integrates NPI Financials into the Short & long-term planning processes</li>
<li>Support and manage the preparation, organization, and communication of tradeshows, fairs and events</li>
<li>Administration of performance management process. Engaging & retaining talent by continual dialogue.</li>
<li>Monitor competition (acquisitions, pricing changes and new products and features)</li>
<li>Participate in the quarterly and annual planning of company objectives</li>
<li>Support Marketing for Corporate brand building</li>
<li>Analysis and optimization of new business models</li>
<li>Work with cross-functional teams on new product development (pricing, cost impact, investment analysis)</li>
<li>Perform portfolio reviews to assess impact of new product on existing products</li>
<li>Report financial findings and recommendations at product/platform lifecycle checkpoint reviews and other forums as needed</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>People Management</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Ensuring the right job allocation to the members to leverage their competencies and experience.</li>
<li>Mentor key engineers and identify requirements for skills development</li>
<li>Supervise and work with engineers supporting, developing and nurturing talent</li>
<li>Manage and lead the team, ensuring adequate staffing levels, recruitment, training, development, appraisal, attendance, disciplinary issues and daily supervision to maximise efficient productivity</li>
<li>Motivate and coach the team to operational success</li>
<li>Communicate KPIs from the strategic annual plan so that each employee is aware</li>
<li>Develop, implement and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility</li>
<li>Ensure KPIs are met by working to the overall plan</li>
<li>Develop quarterly and annual hiring plans</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Financial Budget and Control</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Support to Finance Head & Marketing in controlling the budget</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Relationship Management</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Support the sales and business development teams by adding technical assistance</li>
<li>Manage the interface between the customer and engineering and also the internal interfaces between sales, engineering and supply chain/production</li>
<li>Communicate with Platform Head on programme status, risks and issues in an appropriate and timely manner. Raise flag when target not met & conflict not resolved</li>
<li>Support other department on the project.</li>
<li>Work on ideas and improve operation, supporting and implementing continuous improvement activities and process and procedure improvements to optimise results and improve quality of delivery.</li>

<p><strong>Qualifications and Experience Levels:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Graduate in engineering with 15-20 years of experience in the automobile industry. Experience in the EV industry is an added advantage.</li>
<li>Candidates from Passenger Vehicle and Commercial Vehicle up to 3.5 Ton capacity are preferred.</li>
<li>Knowledge of EV Components / EV Batteries / E Mobility would be preferred for this role.</li>
<li>Highly desirable in automotive product planning experience with a proven success record in development and execution</li>
<li>Communication and presentation skills</li>
<li>Excellent in written and spoken English</li>
<li>Good understanding of and using traditional and digital marketing trends</li>
<li>Team working and cooperation with all internal departments</li>
