Maintenance Engineer - Chennai

<ul> <li>Take active part in SKF Production System (SPS) deployment. Conduct L1 meeting and record all the inputs of L1 meeting.</li> <li>Review Maintenance Cockpit, CMMS, DDM and allocate tasks to shift team.</li> <li>Carry out unplanned corrective maintenance (UCM) &amp; other improvement tasks such as spare parts repair, unsafe condition closure, leakage rectification kaizen closure etc. through CMMS.</li> <li>Carry out Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for breakdowns greater than 01hour and repetitive breakdowns.</li> <li>Perform BDE for breakdowns greater than 04 hours.</li> <li>Perform Planned maintenance activities (MM/CBM/TBM) on machines.</li> <li>Support to manufacturing team for quality and process improvement projects.</li> <li>Maintain history of machine breakdowns, shift log and other shift management documents.</li> <li>Perform spare parts management to ensure spare part availability.</li> <li>Support maintenance planner to execute maintenance program such as MM, PM. Lead and execute PM during the shift.</li> <li>Review DDM system. Identify and eliminate unsafe conditions/unsafe acts/abnormality tags (Red tags) and all type of leakages [SAFAL tags] and wastes.</li> <li>Propagate energy awareness amongst teams and carry out energy conservation projects.</li> <li>Support to EHS activities.</li> <li>Ensure 5S in the workshops.</li> <li>Perform shift changeover and communicate pending work to next shift.</li> <li>Escalate urgent matters to concern superior.</li> <li>Develop training plan for multiskilling of candidates.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Metrics</strong></p> <ul> <li>Adherence to L1 meeting.</li> <li>Unsafe conditions identified versus closed.</li> <li>% 5S Audit Adherence</li> <li>% Why Why analysis completion.</li> <li>% BDE analysis completion.</li> <li>% PM Adherence.</li> <li>Number of Kaizens per person per month.</li> <li>SPM - Availability</li> </ul>
