Sr. Design Engineer_ Suspension

<p><strong>Job Description-</strong></p> <ul> <li>The selected consultant will be required to support for:</li> <li>Preparation of CAD Model and layout of suspension system especially pneumatic suspension and leaf spring suspension.</li> <li>DMU Check points (critical clearance analysis), axle path and wheel envelope , etc.</li> <li>CAD drawings preparation &amp; in PLM release process to be done.</li> <li>Basic design calculation of suspension like leaf spring design, ride and roll calculations.</li> <li>All process from Cad preparation to design Release in PLM to be done</li> <li>All design calculation and CAD work related to above deliverables</li> <li>Field issues to be tracked and resolved and root cause analysis to be prepared.</li> <li>3D model ling creation, assembly, layout, drafting, Envelop preparation, clearance check.</li> <li>Release activity in PLM</li> <li>Interact with suppliers for component development/Supplier drawing release.</li> <li>Attend DMU review with the vehicle integration &amp; production teams</li> <li>Interact ion with CAE team for design optimisation</li> <li>Should be ready to work in Shifts Preferred Skills &amp; Knowledge</li> <li>Advanced Skill level required in Pro E software for 3D part modelling, assembly &amp; drafting of 2D drawing.</li> <li>GD&amp;T knowledge is a prerequisite</li> <li>Strong Knowledge in PLM design release process.</li> <li>3D Piping design and layout, drawings</li> <li>Must be having basic knowledge of design of suspensi on systems like MacPherson, leaf spring suspension, pneumatic suspension.</li> <li>Basic understanding of design for manufacturing concepts for casting, forging, sheet metal</li> <li>Knowledge of PLM</li> <li>Basic knowledge of EV, Pneumatic suspension packaging.</li> <li>Experience in Automotive OEM HCV/ Buses will be added advantage</li> </ul>
