Mechanical Engineer – Mining Heavy Equipment Maintenance | 2–4 Years

<div>We are seeking a proactive Mechanical Engineer with handson experience in heavy equipment maintenance for mining operations The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability safety and availability of heavy machinery through effective preventive and breakdown maintenance strategies.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></div><ul><li>Diagnose troubleshoot and repair mechanical hydraulic and electrical issues on heavy equipmentincluding dumpers dozers excavators loaders and graders.</li><li>Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance schedules minimizing downtime and ensuring operational efficiency&nbsp;</li><li>Assist in spares planning and inventory managementraising requisitions tracking parts and managing vendors&nbsp;</li><li>Review mechanical drawings hydraulicelectrical schematics and OEM manuals for fault diagnosis and repair strategy</li></ul><div><strong>Required Qualifications &amp; Skills</strong></div><ul><li>Education Diploma or Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)</li><li>Experience 2-4 years in heavy earthmoving or mining equipment maintenance</li><li>Support root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of equipment failures</li></ul><div><strong>Preferred Experience</strong></div><ul><li>Familiarity with mining environments including FIFO or remotesite operations</li><li>Exposure to supplierOEM processes and parts procurement coordination&nbsp;</li></ul>
