Quality Engineer - Chennai

<p><strong>Role &amp; responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ensure deployment of global Electronics standards/processes at the technical centre.</li> <li>Monitor the adherence of new standards, templates, guidelines and checklists among all the Business Groups.</li> <li>Perform project process quality audits every month.</li> <li>Work independently to follow up the process enhancements and process definitions.</li> <li>Support Business Groups in terms of Quality management dashboard usage and global process deployments.</li> <li>Ensure the Core teams are following the Business Group/Product Group standards when its mandatory.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred candidate profile</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support Business Groups to do the process quality audits and propose suggestions.</li> <li>Track the DR (Design Review) status of the projects which are applicable to the technical centre.</li> <li>Support project/Process related QRQCs and ensure timely closure.</li> <li>Support Hardware design-related tools.</li> <li>Prepare standards, guidelines, templates and checklists for the technical centre.</li> <li>Update technical centre viki portal to aware engineers about new process releases.</li> <li>Support QMS for process during system certifications( ISO / IATF audits).</li> </ul>
