Tech Mechanical / Automobile Job Responsibilities Mechanical component ownership for customer complaints &amp; new products. Root cause analysis, finding best solution &amp; monitoring the progress. Warranty receipts monitoring through inspection, Vendor teams. New products - FMEA Review for identifying potential complaints &amp; CTQ parameters. New products - Study of complex issues at pre-pilot, pilot stage. Interaction with Design, Manufacturing, Service &amp; Vendor teams for customer complaints &amp; new products. Documentation &amp; updates in management review forums. Quality System Audits at supplier end, manufacturing plants. Competencies Technical/ Functional Competent in Vehicle and Engine automotive. vehicle system. Knowledge &amp; Experience of problem-solving tools and techniques. Knowledge of vehicle powertrain and the interfaces arising out of integration. Knowledge of automotive industry standards, regulations, and best engineering practices. Thorough knowledge in electronic parts, assemblies &amp; its processes. Good understanding of all applicable standards/ regulations and their application Experience in quality systems of mechanical components for automotive application Vehicle and Engine side system parts. Knowledge of inspection &amp; Testing of Mechanical components. Bench marking with similar parts, VA/VE Knowledge of DFMEA/PFMEA Knowledge of TPM, ISO Standards.
